Future Network and MobileSummit 2010 took place in the Historical City of Florence, 16 - 18 June 2010. This was the nineteenth in a series of Annual Conferences supported by the European Commission, which regularly attracts over 600 delegates from industry and research to share experiences and research results, identify future trends, discuss business opportunities and identify opportunities for international research collaboration under the ICT Theme of Framework Programme 7 (FP7). It contributed to showcasing European research in the field, and position it within the multiplicity of related initiatives supported in other regions of the world.

The Final Programme is published online and can be downloaded as a PDF brochure.

Future Network & Mobile Summit 2011 will take place in the historical city of Warsaw, Poland, 15 - 17 June. Please click here to download the Call for Papers brochure.

Supported by the European Commission and eMobility, the reputation of the Future Network and MobileSummit (previously known as ICT-MobileSummit) is based on high quality networking, plenary sessions that discuss strategic issues in core thematic areas and paper sessions that showcase original results in all areas of mobile, wireless and fixed broadband communications systems and networks.

The deadline for online submission of full papers is 10 December 2010.

Future Network Summit 2010 Best Paper Awards

The Best Paper Award was presented to "Weighted Sum-Rate based Power Allocation for the Uplink of Nonregenerative Cooperative Multi-User MIMO Communication System", authored by Fabien Heliot, Reza Hoshyar, and Rahim Tafazolli, Centre for Communication Systems Research (CCSR), University of Surrey.

The Runner-up Best Paper Award was presented to "Bidirectional Gigabit Transmission over a Single SI-POF for Home Networking", authored by A. Antonino, D. Zeolla, R. Gaudino, Politecnico di Torino & I.S.M.B, Italy.

Future Network Summit 2010 Best Demonstration Stand Awards

The Best Demonstration Stand Award was presented to ALPHA. The Runner-Up Best Demonstration Stand Award was presented to C-CAST.
