WelcomeFuture Network and MobileSummit 2010 takes place in the Historical City of Florence, 16 - 18 June 2010. This is the nineteenth in a series of Annual Conferences supported by the European Commission, which regularly attracts over 600 delegates from industry and research to share experiences and research results, identify future trends, discuss business opportunities and identify opportunities for international research collaboration under the ICT Theme of Framework Programme 7 (FP7). It will thus contribute to showcasing European research in the field, and position it within the multiplicity of related initiatives supported in other regions of the world. In the context of convergence, the 19th Future Network and MobileSummit will address the challenges of building the Future Internet, based on mobile, wireless and fixed broadband communications infrastructures. Supported by the European Commission and eMobility, the reputation of the Future Network and MobileSummit (previously known as ICT-MobileSummit) is based on high quality networking, plenary sessions that discuss strategic issues in core thematic areas and paper sessions that showcase original results in all areas of mobile, wireless and fixed broadband communications systems and networks. RegistrationOnline Registration is open - it is necessary for all participants to complete registration. ExhibitionThe Call for Exhibitors closed on 05 March and the list of participants is published. ProgrammeThe Scientific Programme for Future Network and MobileSummit 2010 is based on an open Call for Papers which closed in December 2009. The Final Programme consists of three plenary sessions and 39 parallel sessions featuring over 180 presenters featuring different aspects of Radio Access and Spectrum, Converged and Optical Networks, and Future Internet Technologies. Pre-Conference WorkshopsTwo pre-conference tutorials (Short-Range Ranging and Localization: Theory and Experimental Results; Multiple Antenna Systems from Optimum Combining to MIMO Networks: a Random Matrix Theory Approach) and four pre-conference workshops (Context-awareness in Smart Environments, Fixed-mobile Convergence: A 2010 Update, eMobility/RAS Workshop & Cluster Meeting, Future Internet Workshop & Cluster Meeting) will take place on Tuesday 15 June at the Sheraton Firenze.
